Overlay suitable surfaces
A prepared existing slab may accept a membrane overlay. Loose or deteriorated material is removed and surface defects are corrected first.
The work beneath the finish
Good preparation comes before a new surface.
We review slab stability, drainage, moisture conditions, existing coatings and transitions. Loose pieces must be removed; repairs and skim coating are defined around the actual condition.
Membrane is not a structural repair or a solution for poor drainage. Some slabs need concrete replacement or other corrective work before a surface system is suitable.

What to check before resurfacing.
Can you work around existing drains, rails and fences?
We evaluate each penetration and termination. Some items can be detailed in place; others may require removal, modification or work by another trade. Photos help us identify those requirements before quoting.
Is membrane always less expensive than replacing concrete?
No. Preparation, slab repairs, drainage corrections, access and detailing affect both options. We compare the membrane scope with the actual condition rather than promise a universal saving.
Can decking wrap the pool coping?
Suitable coping can be wrapped when the substrate, geometry and termination details permit. Our Hueston Woods case study shows a grey coping-wrap application using decking membrane.
