Pittsburgh Multifamily Pool Replacement
A failed 15-plus-year-old liner was removed to expose the concrete shell, then replaced with a reinforced white membrane system and contrasting coping wrap.
The existing condition
What the crew walked into.
The existing liner had exceeded 15 years of service. Complete removal exposed a worn concrete shell and aging stair geometry that had to be prepared before the new waterproofing assembly could be installed.
Field execution
How the system was rebuilt.
Ferguson Aquatics removed the aged liner, documented and prepared the exposed shell, installed the protection layer and 70-mil pool membrane, then completed the perimeter with a contrasting 80-mil coping wrap.
